Coast Guard rescues 19 migrants from drifting boat off the coast of Los Angeles

The U.S Coast Guard stated Saturday that a rescue team stored 19 migrants from a ship that become visible drifting off the coast of Los Angeles.

On Saturday morning, a great Samaritan contacted the Los Angeles-Long Beach Coast Guard after recognizing a disabled panga-fashion vessel off the coast of Redondo Beach, the Coast Guard stated in a information release.

A Coast Guard helicopter rescue team then positioned the disabled boat approximately 18 miles west of Redondo Beach, the Coast Guard stated.
